Built to keep working at crop level.

R200 places the application system beside the canopy rather than above it. Its narrow chassis, six driven wheels, remote view, and route memory are designed for orchards, vineyards, and other blocks where access matters as much as capacity.

Precision spraying

Four pumps and four centrifugal atomizers move high-volume application deep into dense canopies.

Compact six-wheel chassis

A 31.5 in (80 cm) body brings traction and on-the-spot turning into narrow crop rows.

Intelligent navigation

Cruise, path tracking, repeat routes, and field planning support more consistent passes.

Remote operation

SRC 5 puts FPV video, vehicle status, and route controls in the operator’s hands.

Electric drive

A shared XAG battery system supports quick field turnaround without an engine at the row.

Expandable platform

The rover base can support task-specific add-ons beyond the supplied spray system.

Precisely targeted. Evenly delivered.

Four pumps feed four centrifugal atomizers for high-volume application through dense crop canopies. Droplet control and speed-linked flow help put the target rate into the row while reducing unnecessary water and chemical use.

Keep the batteries cool between passes.

Mist cooling and parallel charging shorten the wait between work cycles when the block has to be finished inside a narrow window.

Ground protection for high-value crop rows.

XAG positions the R Series for orchards, vineyards, and greenhouses. R200 brings the larger tank, six-wheel traction, and four JetSprayers to wider rows and higher-volume crop-protection work.

Crop type alone does not determine fit. Row width, headlands, grade, soil, canopy, target, product label, and refill logistics must be checked against the actual block.

Low-directed, label-compliant ground application

Put the spray plane where the crop needs it.

Standard, elevated, and low-directed configurations solve different coverage problems. Every non-standard frame or nozzle layout is scoped as an engineered package and verified before chemical application.

Standard canopy

Four adjustable JetSprayers

The RevoSpray configuration places four ducted-fan atomizers beside the crop row, with a 7 m (23 ft) swath per side and adjustable spray direction.

  • 1.5 m (4.9 ft) spray height
  • 60–200 μm droplets
  • One- or two-sided setup

Custom high canopy

Elevated aluminum nozzle frame

A project-specific aluminum frame raises nozzle outlets to 5 m (16.4 ft) above ground for tall orchard canopies while supporting even coverage. Each installation validates structure, stability, hose routing, flow, nozzle angle, and deposition in the actual block.

  • 5 m / 16.4 ft nozzle elevation
  • Custom-engineered frame
  • Coverage validation required

Orchard floor

Low-directed weed application

Low-mounted or downward-directed nozzles can target vegetation beneath tree rows while keeping the crop canopy outside the intended spray zone. Product label, shielding, nozzle selection, buffer zones, and drift controls govern every setup.

  • Under-tree strips
  • Directed ground application
  • Label-specific configuration
Apple orchard rows where ground and aerial application platforms can complement each other

A complement to the drone—not a replacement.

Research on integrated air-ground orchard protection shows why the platforms can work as a system: ground sprayers concentrate on middle, lower, and inner canopy zones while aircraft can address suitable upper-canopy work.

R200 rover
In-row access, directed airflow, high carrier volume, orchard-floor work, and label-permitted ground applications.
Agricultural drone
Fast aerial access and upper-canopy work where the product label, Pest Control Products Act requirements, and local regulations permit.

The label decides the application method. Health Canada states that when a product label says “DO NOT apply by air” or does not include aerial application, it cannot be applied by drone. A ground-based rover may be an option only when the same label permits the crop, pest, rate, ground equipment, spray volume, buffers, and other proposed conditions. Ground use is never automatic.

XAG R200 expandable agricultural rover platform

Extend the rover around the work.

XAG presents the R200 as an expandable base for custom weeding, transport, and other task-specific modules. SkyFlow can scope elevated aluminum spray frames, low-directed orchard-floor nozzles, shielding, hose management, and supporting controls as a complete configuration.

Custom modules are not standard factory specifications. Payload, centre of gravity, clearance, route safety, chemical compatibility, and current Canadian availability require project review.

Canadian Supply Note
The CM13600S does not deliver 3.4 kW on ordinary 120 V service. Plan a 220–240 V circuit if the turnaround depends on full charging output.

Source: xa.com/en/r200/r200specs. Maximums and endurance depend on environment, load, settings, battery condition, operating method, and maintenance. The CM13600S does not deliver 3.4 kW on ordinary 120 V Canadian service.

Before configuring an R200.

What is the practical difference between the R200 and R100?+

Both are 80 cm (31.5 in) wide. The R200 adds a 240 L (63.4 US gal) tank, independent six-wheel drive, four pumps, and four JetSprayers for higher-capacity work. The R100 uses a 120 L (31.7 US gal) tank, four-wheel drive, and two JetSprayers for tighter or lower-volume operations.

Is the R200 fully autonomous?+

XAG describes path planning, repeat mode, onboard mapping, RTK positioning, path tracking, and safety assistance. These features do not remove the need for route validation, exclusion planning, active supervision, and an intervention procedure.

How long does the R200 operate on one battery?+

The R200 delivers 8–15 minutes of spraying operation per B141050 battery.

Can the rover platform carry other tools?+

The platform is presented as expandable for task-specific add-ons. SkyFlow must confirm the selected module, integration, payload, controls, safety requirements, and current Canadian availability before quoting.

Can the R200 spray apple, cherry, plum, and nectarine orchards?+

These tree-fruit rows are potential R200 applications when vehicle access, headlands, slope, canopy geometry, application volume, nozzle direction, and the product label all fit. SkyFlow validates the block and spray configuration rather than treating crop name alone as approval.

Can the R200 reach a 5 m (16.4 ft) orchard canopy?+

The onboard RevoSpray system reaches a maximum spray height of 1.5 m (4.9 ft). SkyFlow’s custom aluminum frame can elevate nozzle outlets to 5 m (16.4 ft) above ground and is configured for even canopy coverage. This engineered configuration requires structural, stability, hydraulic, drift, and water-sensitive-paper coverage validation.

Can the R200 apply products that cannot be sprayed by drone?+

Potentially, when the Canadian product label permits the intended crop, pest, rate, and ground-application method. If a label says “DO NOT apply by air” or does not include aerial application, a drone cannot be used; that does not automatically authorize the rover. The complete ground-use directions still have to permit the proposed application.

Does the R200 replace an agricultural drone?+

No. It can complement a drone: the rover can work from within rows, direct spray into middle and lower canopy zones, and support label-permitted ground applications, while an aircraft may suit accessible aerial-labelled work and upper-canopy coverage. The best program may use either platform or both, based on the label and field conditions.

Can SkyFlow plan a complete R200 package?+

Yes. Planning can cover the rover, spray system, controller, positioning, batteries, charger, transport, application workflow, spares, onboarding, and a comparison with aerial or compact rover alternatives.

Need a smaller ground platform? Compare the 120 L (31.7 US gal), four-wheel-drive R100.
