Choose one aerial job and one ground job.
Neo 2 is the compact follow and self-capture option. Action 6 is the weather-ready ground and mounted camera. Avata 360 can add immersive capture for trained operators and appropriate locations, but it does not remove the need for a surveyed route, VLOS, permissions, or conservative separation.

The field packing order.
- Protected aircraft, propellers, guards where appropriate, controller or control device, charged batteries, and hub.
- Action 6, selected mounts, quick releases, tethers, spare battery, and lens protection.
- Approved cards, transfer cable, small backup drive or verified phone capacity.
- Microfibre cloths, blower, dry bag, labels, tape, and a small tool set.
- Printed or offline route, contacts, permissions, weather, and no-go criteria.
Everything is packed, but nothing is ready.
Stage the first camera, mount, card, and battery before leaving base; keep flight and ground systems in separate labelled zones.
One camera fails.
Assign the other camera a ground-only master sequence instead of forcing a compromised aerial or mount.
End the day with a verifiable handoff.
- Copy every card before formatting anything.
- Confirm file counts and open representative clips.
- Separate damaged, wet, depleted, and ready gear.
- Log mount issues, tracking failures, exposure changes, and missing shots.
- Charge only after equipment is dry, inspected, and at a safe temperature.
Sources and verification.
This guide summarizes published manufacturer capabilities and Canadian aviation or privacy context, then adapts them into a practical production method. It does not reproduce the source articles and is not legal advice.
Verify before the take
- Current product compatibility, included items, firmware, and availability.
- Exact location, land or venue permission, people, privacy, weather, and operational rules.
- A recorded camera and sound test under the real conditions.
