Goggles 3 shows the live camera feed on 1080p Micro-OLED panels with a refresh rate of up to 100 Hz. The headband integrates the battery, so there is no cable running to a separate pack, and DJI rates the built-in battery for about three hours of operation.
Real View picture-in-picture puts a live view of your surroundings inside the display. You can check your footing, look at the aircraft, or speak to someone nearby without lifting the headset — useful when a visual observer is working beside you.
Dioptre adjustment covers -6.0 D to +2.0 D, so most nearsighted and farsighted pilots can fly without glasses. A pair of -2.0 D corrective lenses is included, and one-tap defogging handles cold mornings and humid days.
Pair the goggles with RC Motion 3 for wrist-led flight or with a compatible stick controller for conventional flying. DJI Neo 2 also needs the Digital Transceiver installed for the O4 link.
Creator Armoury can fit the headset, set the dioptres and interpupillary distance, bind the aircraft, and cover the Canadian visual-observer requirement that applies when the pilot cannot see the aircraft directly.
