DJI Dock 4 Price in Canada: What a Complete Quotation Includes

DJI Dock 4 price in Canada: compare the complete quotation

If you are searching for the DJI Dock 4 price in Canada, first define what the price must include. A dock-only hardware figure, an aircraft package and a commissioned site are different purchases. Comparing their totals without comparing scope can hide the largest differences.

SkyFlow keeps DJI Dock 4 and Matrice 5TD quotation only. We are not publishing an estimated MSRP, converting a foreign dealer’s price into a Canadian promise or advertising an unverified lead time. The accepted quotation should define the supplied configuration and commercial terms.

Use the following structure to request proposals that can actually be compared.

Start with a common mission brief

Give each supplier the same site, observation area, flight frequency, response objective, software requirements and intended operating arrangements. Explain whether this is a new site or a migration from an existing dock.

Without a common brief, one quote may assume only product delivery while another includes survey and commissioning. Neither total explains its value until those assumptions are visible.

Set an acceptance outcome, such as an authorized representative route, a specified observation task and successful delivery of data to named users. Avoid using a maximum manufacturer range or endurance figure as the acceptance test.

Separate hardware from deployment services

Scope itemWhat the quotation should say
DockExact DJI Dock 4 regional configuration and quantity
AircraftDJI Matrice 5TD, separately identified; do not accept an ambiguous “Matrice 5” label
Required ground stationO4 Ground Station, mounting arrangement and cable scope
BatteriesExact quantity, supplied state, rotation plan and replacement assumptions
AccessoriesNamed spotlight, speaker, parachute and mount, only if required and available
SoftwareFlightHub 2 deployment option, licence term, users, storage and any integrations
Site preparationStructural base, electrical work, grounding, network provision and contractor responsibilities
InstallationMounting, setup, configuration and documented handover
AcceptanceTest plan, authorized test missions, data delivery and customer sign-off
Training and supportAudience, format, scope, service period and exclusions
MaintenanceInspection responsibilities, consumables and future servicing assumptions
Commercial termsCurrency, applicable taxes, freight, validity, payment terms and confirmed availability

This is a procurement checklist, not a claim that every item is included in a standard box or supplied by SkyFlow on every project.

Why battery quantity needs its own line

Dock 4 has four battery compartments but allows a maximum of three occupied compartments at a time so the swap mechanism can operate. That capacity is not a statement of how many batteries come with a particular commercial offer.

Ask how many batteries are being supplied, how they support the intended duty cycle and how replacement is budgeted. Temperature, readiness, mission length and ageing all affect the rotation. The fastest published swap time does not solve an insufficient ready-battery inventory.

If a quote uses the phrase “complete system,” request the itemized contents anyway. A clearly written list is more useful than a broad bundle label.

Identify recurring costs before comparing totals

A project budget may include software renewals, storage, data connections, third-party integration support, inspection, replacement batteries and operator time. Their importance depends on the actual deployment and contractual arrangements.

Ask which costs are one-time, which recur and which are usage-dependent. Request the assumptions behind them. A low initial invoice may not represent the lower cost of meeting the mission over the evaluation period.

Do not assume that every AI, cloud or integration feature shown in a launch video is included in the proposed licence. Have the required functions and their current availability confirmed.

Define who performs site work

The site owner may provide an electrician, structural contractor or IT team. The equipment supplier may provide some installation and commissioning activities. Write down the boundary between them.

Ask who approves the base and power supply, who installs the ground station, who provisions internet access and who owns troubleshooting when more than one contractor is involved. Include any travel, access or after-hours requirements in the request.

Our Dock 4 site-readiness checklist helps identify those tasks before a quotation is finalized.

Check claims that affect the business case

Clarify whether a response-time target includes dispatch decisions and travel to the observation point. Distinguish the under-25-second battery swap from the under-45-second controlled-test turnaround. Ask how working endurance is planned with reserve rather than using the 59-minute maximum as a scheduled sortie length.

Confirm Canadian radio features, operating permissions and the status of future functions. A capability marked coming soon should not be treated as available for acceptance today. An operating approval is not implied by buying the hardware.

If you already own Dock 3 equipment, use the Dock 4 versus Dock 3 guide to identify the migration costs and benefits that should be tested.

Request a scope you can approve

Send SkyFlow the site location, mission brief, expected users, network and power information, operating arrangements and target timeframe. Add procurement conditions and any work you expect your own contractors to complete.

Request a Dock 4 and Matrice 5TD quotation. Pricing, supply configuration, availability and included services will be confirmed in writing.

Frequently asked questions

What is SkyFlow’s public Dock 4 price?

Dock 4 is quotation only. No public MSRP or estimated installed price is promised on this page.

Does a dock price automatically include the aircraft and O4 Ground Station?

Do not assume that. The aircraft, required ground station, battery count and service scope should be explicitly listed in the proposal.

Can I compare a US hardware price with a Canadian deployment quote?

Only after normalizing currency, exact hardware, software, services, freight, taxes, regional configuration and support. Otherwise the comparison is incomplete.

Plan your Dock 4 deployment with SkyFlow.

Send your site, mission, power and network requirements. We’ll confirm the proposed Dock 4 / Matrice 5TD configuration and supply scope in writing.

Quotation only. Regional features, availability, software and included services require confirmation.
