XAG X Series is coming to Canada in 2027

SkyFlow, XAG's distributor in Canada, is preparing the XAG X Series Agricultural Robot for Canadian farms. The system is expected to arrive in 2027. Preorders and the demonstration waitlist are open now on the X Series launch page.

What the X Series is

XAG launched the X Series in China in July 2026 as a crop-protection system that automates a spray job from start to finish. It is three machines that work as one:

  • An agricultural drone, the X100 with a 50 L tank or the X150 with an 85 L tank.
  • The XA1 drone dock, which lands, aligns and flash charges the drone.
  • An LM1 smart mixing and refilling station, which weighs, mixes, stirs and refills chemical automatically.

Together they plan the route, fly and spray, mix and refill, charge, and clean themselves. Nobody has to handle concentrate or swap batteries between flights.

Highlights from XAG's launch

FeatureWhat XAG reports
Flash chargingUsable charge in about 2.5 minutes, full in about 3.5 minutes with the 18 kW dock
Automatic refillingUp to 60 L/min from a 190 L or 120 L mixing tank
Spraying50–500 μm centrifugal droplets, 5–10 m effective width, up to 42 L/min

These figures come from XAG's launch materials and lab testing. Real results depend on crop, weather, product and operation, and the Canadian configuration may differ.

What SkyFlow is doing before release

Bringing a new autonomous system to Canada takes more than shipping it. SkyFlow is working directly with XAG on three things:

  1. Localization. Adapting the system, apps and documentation for Canadian farms, Canadian power supply and English and French users.
  2. Field testing. Running the drone, dock and station in Canadian crops, weather and seasons, including cold-weather behaviour.
  3. Legal review. Working through Canadian regulatory, certification and product-liability requirements.

We will confirm the release date, models, packages, pricing and warranty as this work finishes. Operators will remain responsible for Transport Canada drone rules, pesticide labels and provincial requirements, and we will publish Canadian operating guidance with the release.

Sold and supported by trained dealers

As with the rest of the XAG range, SkyFlow will sell and support the X Series in Canada with a network of dealers we train for installation, service and parts. If you are a dealer interested in the X Series, see becoming an XAG dealer in Canada.
